"My approach is relational,
showing up to collaboratively create a connection that is full of trust and authenticity."

I work with clients who often have experiences of complex trauma (C-PTSD), and a history of childhood, family-of-origin, and generational trauma. I often work with those who identify as Latine/x, People of Color, multi-cultural, or Queer. I see therapy as a space to welcome curiosity, explore emotions, and build skills to navigate life challenges and make steps toward your goals.

My Approach

How I Work in the
Therapy Room

Through a trauma-informed lens, I meet you where you're at. I bring radical compassion and humor to sessions, providing a space that is non-judgmental and welcomes all parts of you. My approach is strength-based, focusing on the strengths and skills you've learned to survive, and client-centered, focusing on your goals and values. I hold unconditional positive regard, knowing that you inherently hold wisdom and the capacity for growth and healing.

Modalities I Use:
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) Attachment-Based Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Emotion Focused Therapy Internal Family Systems (IFS) Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (M-CBT) Motivational Interviewing Narrative Therapy Polyvagal / Nervous System-Informed Somatic (Body-Based) Practices Trauma-Focused

Is This You?

Your emotional reactions feel overwhelming and uncontrollable
Relationships bring conflict, and you're looking for skills to build connections
You feel ready to start the journey of exploring your childhood trauma
You understand how to intellectualize your emotions, but you're seeking to learn how to feel, process, and build mind-body connection
Stress has left you in a state of "survival mode" and you're looking to slow down and cope

If that resonates, we might be a great fit.
