I am passionate about helping individuals, couples and families; especially immigrants, women, and people of color, navigate their feelings and discover meaningful connections.

My approach combines empathy, collaboration, trauma-informed care, faith-based counseling, and evidence-based practices to create a safe space for healing, growth, and thriving. Whether you are experiencing anxiety, relationship issues, burnout, or life transitions, I am here to support and guide you. I believe that therapy is not just about addressing problems, but also about rediscovering strengths, building resilience, and addressing some of the external forces that affect our emotions. We will work together to create healthier life patterns that will help to unleash your potential and fulfill your life's goals, empowering you to move forward and achieve your dreams.

I believe that counseling can benefit the personal growth of any individual. In a therapeutic relationship, this growth comes through the ongoing journey where you can safely discuss your mental health concerns, process difficult events, and learn tools for holistic healing. I believe it is my job to assist you in uncovering solutions, building confidence, and finding direction in life. I place a high value on therapeutic, non-judgmental relationships centered around deep listening and bringing cultural awareness. I have a unique understanding of Christian ideals and values and if you would like to discuss your Christian faith I am available to structure our sessions in faith-based counseling practices.

However, I am open to working with people of all faiths and backgrounds and tailor my approach and language to incorporate your individual beliefs and will never impose my own. By exploring your family system, relationships, culture, and spirituality I believe you will find the strength within yourself to find healing transformation. I would be honored to sit alongside you in your path to healing.

A little more personal...

I lean on humor as my main coping tool, and it’s my faith that gives me the strength to keep moving forward in life. Reading scripture helps me find the words and the courage to speak, especially when I can’t find them on my own.

Despite facing some challenges in life, I have been a certified nursing assistant since 2013, working in nursing homes, and hospitals. I found a way to push forward and remain resilient, taking small steps at a time. Without my friends, family, and especially my dad, who has his PhD in Business, and who has supported and guided me, I wouldn't have made it this far. Now, I hold a master’s degree in clinical psychology with an emphasis in marriage and family therapy from Pepperdine University.

My own experiences and hardships drove me to enter the mental health field, and I wanted to give people who are struggling with similar issues a chance to move forward. My interests are fitness, watching my favorite shows, traveling, or hanging out with my family, friends, and community.
