The same therapists, the same connection, without the commute. Secure video sessions for anyone located in Oregon.
This isn't an app, a chatbot, or an anonymous text line. Telehealth at True You means a scheduled session with one of our own Oregon-based therapists, the same people who see clients in our offices, over secure, HIPAA-compliant video.
For a lot of Oregonians, telehealth is what makes therapy possible at all: people hours from the nearest practice, parents without childcare to spare, anyone whose week has no room for a commute. Every therapist on our team offers it.
Getting started is the same as in person: book a relaxed 20 to 30 minute video consultation, meet your therapist, and see how it feels. If it's a fit, ongoing sessions happen on a private, secure video platform. You'll need a reasonably quiet, private space and a decent internet connection. A parked car counts, plenty of clients use one.
One requirement worth knowing: because our clinicians practice under Oregon licensure and registration, you need to be physically located in Oregon at the time of each session. Where in Oregon doesn't matter. Astoria, Ontario, Ashland, a trailhead parking lot with good signal, all fine.

Every True You therapist offers telehealth. These four show the range, from fully-virtual practice to Central Oregon and Spanish-language care.

Sessions are $175 per hour for individuals, including children and adolescents, and $200 per hour for couples and family sessions. Before you begin care, you also have the right to a written Good Faith Estimate of your expected costs.
For many people it's the difference between starting therapy and putting it off another year, and that matters more than the format. What makes therapy work is the relationship with your therapist, and that comes through a screen better than most people expect. If you try it and want to switch to in-person, we can talk about what's available near you.
A private space, a phone, tablet, or computer with a camera, and a stable internet connection. Headphones help with privacy. Your therapist will send you a secure link before each session, and there's nothing to install beyond following it.

No. Our clinicians practice under Oregon licensure and registration, so you need to be located in Oregon at the time of each session. If you're moving out of state, your therapist will help you plan the transition and find care where you're headed.
