Anxiety & Depression Therapy in
Portland and Central Oregon

When your mind won't slow down, or won't start up, therapy gives you a place to figure out what's actually going on, and what helps.

It's More Than Stress.
And It's Treatable.

Anxiety rarely announces itself. It shows up as overthinking every conversation, a chest that never quite unclenches, sleepless nights before completely ordinary days. Depression can be just as quiet: everything takes more energy than it should, and things you used to enjoy feel flat. If any of that sounds familiar, you're not weak and you're not broken. These are two of the most common reasons people start therapy.

Our therapists work with anxiety and depression every day, in teens and adults, in first-time clients and people who've done therapy before. We'll help you understand what's driving the weight you carry, and build tools that hold up in real life, not just in the therapy room.

A quick note: therapy is not an emergency service. If you are in crisis right now, call or text 988 for the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, available 24/7, or visit our crisis resources page.

No One-Size-Fits-All.
On Purpose.

There's no single right way to work with anxiety or depression, so we don't force one. Depending on your therapist and what you need, your work might draw on cognitive behavioral therapy to untangle thought spirals, acceptance and commitment therapy to stop fighting your own mind, Internal Family Systems to understand the parts of you that worry and protect, or somatic approaches that work with the body as well as the mind.

What stays constant: you set the pace, and you'll always know why we're doing what we're doing. Sessions are available in person in Portland, Milwaukie, Bend, and Redmond, and across Oregon via telehealth.

Making Therapy
Accessible

Sessions are $175 per hour for individuals, including children and adolescents, and $200 per hour for couples and family sessions. We accept several major insurance plans, including Aetna, Providence, Regence, Anthem, and Blue Cross Blue Shield. We are not currently able to accept Oregon Health Plan (OHP). Before you begin care, you also have the right to a written Good Faith Estimate of your expected costs.

How do I know if it's time to try therapy?

A useful test: is this getting in the way of your life? If worry, low mood, or exhaustion is affecting your sleep, work, relationships, or how you feel about yourself, that's reason enough. You don't need a diagnosis or a crisis to justify getting support.

What happens in the first session?

You'll start with a relaxed 20 to 30 minute video consultation, where you and a therapist explore what's going on and whether it feels like a fit. From there, ongoing sessions build a fuller picture and a plan. We've laid the whole process out on our What to Expect page.

How much does it cost, and do you take insurance?

Individual sessions are $175 per hour. We accept several major insurance plans, including Aetna, Providence, Regence, Anthem, and Blue Cross Blue Shield. We are not currently able to accept Oregon Health Plan (OHP). Details are on our insurance and pricing page.

Do you work with teens?

Yes. Several of our therapists work with teens navigating anxiety, depression, and emotional intensity, in person and by telehealth. You can browse therapists who see teens here.
